I am interested to see how this goes but I have to agree with you Geoff that I think it will fall flat on its face.

He, he. Fantastic vigorous response, Riges. if you are going to run your site with the same oomph, it's sure to be a winner. Good luck.

Vouch On...

Jeff has got the 2Vouch model pretty much spot on, with one major thing to point out... unlike existing job boards, our advertisers pay nothing (nada, zip, zilch, not a cent) until they hire someone – and they enjoy the comfort of a 30 day money back guarantee.

In terms of the eternal question about financial rewards possibly diminishing the value of the referral, off-line experience suggests this is not really the case. For years now, smart companies have had internal referral schemes that pay thousands for a good referral. Also, recruiters are used to doing revenue share and paying spotters fees. This is the reality of a market that is very short on talented professionals.

We are looking forward to seeing how Aussie professionals take up and use 2Vouch and how their networks respond to the opportunities. We are also looking forward to partnering with recruiters to provide another sourcing channel – far from cutting them out of the loop, we will offer recruiters volume discounts and expect them to be major users.

Who knows, when the JobGenie really hits his straps, he might even help Jeff find someone to give him more interesting things to ponder in the wee hours... :)

PS: We will be launching soon! People are welcome to sign up now at www.2vouch.com to be kept informed about the launch.

Cheers
