I wonder what happens when a recruitment agency wants to hire a recruitment consultant for the IT discipline on this board?

There are a few reasons job seekers don't like recruiters. For a start, they are gatekeepers to where they really want to get, talking to the employer in an interview. Just like nobody likes the gatekeeper at a nightclub telling you that you have the wrong shoes on, nobody likes a recruiter telling you that you have the wrong resume. Which brings me to the second point, job seekers feel that unless the recruiter really understands the industry intimately then they are in no position to judge their skills. If the employer asks for a .NET developer and I get rejected because I am a C# developer, all I can do is throw my hands in the air.
