JJJ Coming To An Elevator Near You

April 9, 2008 by

In an effort to “lift” its application rates, Jobs Jobs Jobs, is offering job advertisements in elevators in Sydney and Melbourne, starting next week.

Why stop there? Why not “raise” the bar and whack the job advertisements on the back of public toilet doors or on toilet rolls?

This is pun city. And I apologise for such. From a recruiter perspective, and this I will not apologise for, this seems like a ploy to make advertisers pay for JJJ branding. Who’s gonna read a job ad whilst standing alongside their colleagues and bosses in a lift?

Great topic Geoff and I have to agree with you that toilet scenario makes more sense than elevators. In the toilet at least one is by themself (unless you are a Sydney footy player) and has time to contemplate your future and WOW on the back of the toilet door and on the toilet paper jobs from JJJ perfect. Perhaps the exact roll (excuse the pun) you are looking for and you can flush the evidence once read.

Seriously job ads in elevators no wonder Seek isn’t trembling in their boots.
