Welcome to the "web-game", Elvina. I think your situation is perhaps indicative of the general feeling in the business world that the web operates with more pliable rules than other forms of publishing.

I appreciated the way you handled the criticism of your site, however. It's something I am attempting to achieve with this site - the only way we navigate through our work successfully is via debate and discussion. It's healthy.

Please do me one favor?

Don't ever use the words Top Notch in your content. Knot Ever:)

Hi Geoff this is the owner of Think Resources.

I’m stoked to see that you actually managed to find my brand spanking new site! I’m new to the web-game and have been trying all sorts of SEO tips on how to get my site indexed well.

I obviously didn’t spend enough time on the proof-reading side of things! You know what it’s like when you run your own business. Thank you (and Mr. Treenan) for pointing out those spelling errors.

Your post sparked an interesting response from Seek.com.au, apparently I was mis-informed on what I could/could not advertise. Our discount still exists as part of our everyday recruitment solution package where we charge 10% for permanent placements. Maybe it’s my accounting background, but I think our fees are significantly discounted when compared to other agencies.

Anyway, feel free to get in touch with any other pointers – always welcome.

It's ironic that they also offer advice on preparing a CV.

"Ensure that you spell check and then proof read your CV thoroughly before submitting it to each role. Just one small typing error could potentially ruin your application"

On their homepage:
"We are accountants, so we are on the same wavelength - and we know what your looking for".

'your'

"As Australia's fastest growing city, its not hard to imagine why there is so many opportunities here on the Gold Coast"

So this firm is Australia's largest city'?
'its'
'is so many'

I could read more but I've had my chuckles for the day.
