How to Reduce Your Spend On JobsJobsJobs
April 8, 2009 by Geoff Jennings
I have been married for nearly fourteen years now and one thing I understand is that communication is the corner stone to making a good partnership work.
Imagine my surprise when I called the number on the invitation to the JXT Consulting event on how to ‘reduce my spend on job boards’ and JobsJobsJobs (JJJ) answered.
For those members of the audience who are not following. Clarification: JXT is the byproduct of the Jobx/JobsJobsJobs merger, so why would a company owned by a job board tell you how to reduce your spend on job boards?
Prediction: This marriage has some rocky times ahead.

Great find Geoff.
It seems a bit odd indeed. Why would a job board want to talk you out of their own services?
Is the left hand not talking to the right hand?
I couldn’t even find JXT on google. Obviously they are not taking on board their own advice.
Interesting indeed! In Jeff Jarvis’ book “What Would Google Do?” he advocates reducing your margins as much as possible to give your competitors nowhere to go to undercut you.
Not sure how this would actually work in practice but it’s an interesting theory. Can someone try it and let me know how it goes?!!!
Can whoever attends this Jobx/jobsJobsJobs network promo please report back. It’ll be interesting to hear what is said. They are really trying to attract the top end of town with their $50 Adwords voucher.
Apparently they only gave out two of the hundreds of vouchers promised on the day.
This merger was a ludacrisly bad deal for JJJ and a good deal for Jobx. Now they have joined forces to creat JXT, possibly the worst product ever to hit the recruitment market.
