Seek is making it easier for your job ad. to be at the top of the search results list with its buy-a-Premium job ad. online service. Naturally, however, a superior listing will come at a price.
“At SEEK we’ve developed an even faster, easier way to buy Premium Ads – you can now do it online.

With 24/7 access, you’re now able to book Premium Ads online at a time that suits you. There’s no need to call us! (Unless of course you want to.)
Buying Premium Ads online gives you:

Please watch our short video and start booking your Premium Ads online today.”
What about my poor little standard job listing that keeps losing value and moving down the rankings? Carey Eaton has previously argued that Seek Premium ads. are targeted at employers rather than recruiters. This logic is flawed, however, if we consider the idea that it is more likely recruiters who will have the inclination to place their ads. in this self-service fashion.

The blog might take on an international flavor over the next few weeks. In the tradition of the middle-class male, I’m off on a European tour. In between cups of cafe au lait, I’m gonna have a look at what’s going in Paris and a few other cities in Western Europe. There’s some pretty interesting stuff happening over there in regard to online communication and recruitment and I hope to bring you news about my many adventures.

Upgrade To The SEEK Learning Site
April 28, 2008 by Geoff Jennings · Comments Off
April has been a good month to launch some site enhancements. The Big Chair launched some improvements to its job search. The team at Seek have been busy little bees over the long weekend. Today Seek launched an upgraded user interface for their SEEK Learning site, and, in partnership with IT certification training partner, SkillSoft, the UK counterpart.
Version 2 looks to have a better layout than the last with more strongly backed career content – in the form of both “career facts” and real-person interviews. Also, as expected there is better integration with Seek’s job search.
